Elegant and refined, the natural Fraser Fir Christmas tree stands out with its dense foliage, subtle blue-green tones, soft needles, and beautifully defined branches. Its graceful, festive appearance makes it a favourite for creating a warm and magical Christmas atmosphere.

Known for its excellent needle retention, the Fraser Fir stays fresh for a long time when properly cared for and kept well-watered, even in a heated home. Its sturdy branches are also ideal for displaying your favourite Christmas ornaments.

Rarer and more demanding to grow than the Balsam Fir, this Quebec-grown natural Christmas tree is a premium choice for those looking for an elegant holiday centrepiece.

How do I set up my Christmas tree?

Proper installation is essential to keeping your Christmas tree fresh throughout the holiday season.

All our trees are delivered with a fresh cut at the base of the trunk. We recommend placing your tree in its stand and adding water as soon as possible after delivery.

If you plan to wait several hours before setting it up, it's best to trim approximately 1–2 cm (½ inch) from the base of the trunk before placing it in water.

Make sure your tree stand is sturdy, suitable for your tree's size, and large enough to hold an adequate supply of water. For larger trees, we recommend having two people handle the installation.

How do I care for my Christmas tree?

A natural Christmas tree requires very little maintenance. The secret to keeping it beautiful and fresh into January? Water, plain and simple!

The first few days are especially important. Your tree may absorb a significant amount of water, particularly during the first 48–72 hours. Check the water level regularly and make sure the base of the trunk always remains submerged.

Keep your tree away from radiators, fireplaces, and other heat sources. A cooler environment will help preserve its freshness and minimize needle loss.

A tip from Michel: set a daily reminder on your phone to check the water level. Your tree will thank you!

How do I dispose of my Christmas tree after the holidays?

After the holidays, your natural Christmas tree can have a second life through recycling and organic waste recovery programs.

In Montreal and many surrounding municipalities, special Christmas tree collections are typically organized in January.

Check your borough's or municipality's collection schedule for the exact dates and disposal guidelines.

Before placing your tree outside, remove all ornaments, lights, garlands, and the tree stand. This allows your tree to be collected and responsibly recycled.
