Organize a Christmas Tree Fundraiser in Montréal

With Sapin Chez Michel, families purchase a natural Christmas tree or wreath, and a portion of each eligible sale goes to your organization. Our team handles orders, payments and deliveries, so you can focus on getting your community involved.

A fundraiser built around a holiday tradition

School trips, sports equipment and community activities all need funding. A Christmas tree fundraiser lets families support your project through a purchase they may already be planning to make.

Our trees are all grown in Québec. Families can support their school or organization while choosing a natural tree from a family business that has been part of the Marché Jean-Talon community since 1968.

How much could your organization raise?

For eligible sales attributed to your campaign, your organization receives:

• $10 per Christmas tree sold;
• $5 per wreath sold.

For example, 50 trees and 20 wreaths would raise $600 for your project: $500 from trees and $100 from wreaths.

This is an illustrative calculation. The amount raised depends on completed sales that qualify for your fundraiser.

Two ways to participate: online or at Marché Jean-Talon

1. Order online using your organization’s code

Families choose their tree in our online store and use your organization’s personalized promotional code. The code links their purchase to your campaign. Orders are paid for online, and trees are delivered directly to their homes.

2. Choose a tree in person at our stand

Families who prefer to pick their tree in person can visit our stand at Marché Jean-Talon. They simply mention your school or organization’s name at checkout so their eligible purchase can be attributed to your campaign. Delivery is also available.

Both options run throughout the campaign, so each family can choose whichever works best for them.

Launch your campaign in three steps

1. Register your organization. Complete the form on our fundraising page. Our team will contact you to help prepare your campaign.
2. Share the details. Send your community the personalized code, the store link and instructions for purchases at our stand.
3. Remind families how to participate. A few reminders in your newsletter, parent groups or social media can help families remember your organization when they buy their tree.

For the 2026 campaign, families can participate from November 15 to December 23.

A special day to bring your community together

Want to add a community outing to your campaign? We can arrange a special day for your school or organization at our Christmas tree village at Marché Jean-Talon, with a festive atmosphere, Christmas music, and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate for families.

This event is optional. Families can support your organization throughout the campaign, even if they do not attend the special day.
